Valentine cards

This is one of a group of 10 Valentine cards I made this weekend for the seniors in my church.
Materials used:

Stampin' Up!:
Teeny Tiny Wishes stamp set
Fancy fan embossing folder
Modern Label punch
Word Window punch
Real Red Classic Ink

Michael's:
Red card stock
Red ribbon
Recollections Heart punch

Thank you cards

The top card is heat embossed with versa mark ink and white embossing powder and then sponged over with Hello Honey ink from Stampin' Up!  The sentiment is from Lots of Thanks stamp set and punched out with the Modern Label punch and matted with a brown card stock to match the brown mat behind the Natural White card stock I used for the stamped piece.  These cards are made to fit a business/legal size envelope with the wheat stamp from Wetlands stamp set stamped in Hello Honey on the envelope to match the card.  The bottom card is almost the same but instead of heat embossing, I stamped the wheat with Hello Honey classic ink.

Stampin' Up:
Hello Honey Classic ink
Wetlands stamp set
Lots of Thanks stamp set
Modern Label punch
Natural Whites card stock

Michael's
White heavy weight card stock (for bases)
Brown card stock
Butterfly punch

Valentine cards

This weekend I was working on some valentine cards for the seniors in our church.  I was really struggling to come up with a masculine valentine card and then as I thought of the individuals I needed to make valentine cards for, I decided to use these papers.  Two of the three love music and the other one I thought I would use a "wood" design paper.  After making these three, I decided to make 2 papers with the "lace" design paper for women.  The wood and lace designs come from a paper pad I received for my birthday in 2013.  The music paper came from Michael's.  I added trim to the envelopes to match the cards.  The sentiment is from Wetlands stamp set from Stampin' Up! and stamped in Real Red classic ink also from Stampin' Up! The hearts are punched from red card stock with a Recollections 1-7/16" heart punch.  I used a corner punch to punch 2 corners on the sentiment piece and red mat.
