Post it note holders.

This is a recent project that make great gifts.  They are post it note holders with a built in pen holder.
It is a great way to use those small pieces you may have.  I embossed the small mats.  On the white pieces I heat embossed the flower with silver embossing powder and colored them in with markers.  The bases are made from Stampin' Up Baked Brown Sugar card stock and the flower is from the Simply Sketched stamp set.  I colored the flowers to match the color of the pen as close as possible.  I saw  this pattern for post it note holders on a YouTube tutorial by France Martin and then just did a different design on the front.

Thinking of You

Here is a Thinking of You card.  I used Baked Brown Sugar card stock for the base and the mat behind the design.  The mat is from the Recollections Seaside card stock collection and embossed with the Tim Holtz brick embossing folder.  The design is from  the Simply Sketched stamp set stamped in Baked Brown Sugar ink.  I had made a mistake with a previous project so I just punched out the bird from that card and put a dimensional behind it to raise it on this card.  I colored the bird with a yellow marker.  The sentiment is from Thoughts and Prayers stamp set and is stamped with Baked Brown Sugar ink.  Inside the card, I stamped the bird design in the bottom left corner of the white mat.

Birthday card

Here is a recent birthday card I made.  I really doing these scenery pictures.  The card base is Stampin' Up Baked Brown Sugar (I love this color) card stock.  For the picture I used Stampin' Up Old Olive, Daffodil Delight, Pumpkin Spice inks and Baked Brown Sugar for  the tree.  I used a 1-3/4" circle for masking the moon.  The sentiment is from Stampin' Up Simply Sketched stamp set and is stamped with Baked Brown Sugar ink.  This is one of my favorite sets.  The tree is from the Thoughts and Prayers stamp set from Stampin' Up.  I really like that set as well.

Post it note pad holder

This is the outside and inside of a holder I made for these post it notes I found at Dollarama.   The holder is made with Baked Brown Sugar card stock from Stampin' Up and the design is from the Simply Sketched stamp set stamped with Baked Brown Sugar ink also from Stampin' Up.  The design is stamped on a 4" x 57/8 " piece of Recollections textured cardstock. The holder is 83/4" x 61/8" and scored at 41/4" and 41/2". This idea for this post it note holder was inspired by a tutorial by Brandy Cox for a note pad.  I used a faux tearing technique for the outside.

Valentine gift card holders

I found this idea of a gift card holder on a tutorial by Tami White for a Christmas one so I just made mine for Valentine's gifts.   The printed paper was from a paper pad I received from my children for my birthday.  The hearts are made from red card stock embossed and the sentiments are stickers I found at Dollarama.
