New Year's Message.

Thanks so much for visiting my blog today!  Have a great week!  Wishing you a wonderful New Year in 2017!

"Nailed It" Valentine Card.

This is a brand new stamp set from the brand new Stampin' Up! Occasions Catalogue.  I also used the Build It thinlits to cut out the tools for this card.  The sentiment was cut out with the Word Bubble Stampin' Up!  Thinlits.   The brown background was Tip Top Taupe embossed with the Wood grain embossing folder.  For the screwdriver and hammer, I stamped them on white cardstock as well as the gray so I could color the handles, cut them out and adhere them onto the gray tools.  All the tools are heat embossed with silver embossing powder onto gray card stock.

Thank You cards and Sympathy Cards.

Having just come through Christmas holidays, it seemed fitting to have some thank you cards handy for those times when someone might want to give a thank you card for a meal invitation.

2016 seemed to end with a lot of people passing away and so it seemed important to have some sympathy cards available as well.

Sticky Note Holders

I have seen several different versions of these sticky note holders and this is mine.  I made one for each of my co-workers and added a mini gel pen to each one before wrapping them up.  Each one is done in their favorite colors.  They were packaged in these stamped white lunch bags .

Gift Card Exploding box

Happy New Year Everyone!  I realize I haven't been here on my blog for awhile so I will take this time to share a few projects I have been working on.

In November, I made this exploding box gift card holder for a door prize at the Market I am part of.  A friend of mine shared the instructions with me and I took on the challenge.  The "printed" panels that I painted with shaving cream and 3 Stampin' Up Ink Refills.  I believe I used Real Red, Blushing Bride and Strawberry Slush.  The base is made with some cardstock that was given to me from another vendor at our market.   It was fun and I hope you take on the challenge.
