Here is another sympathy card I put together on Tuesday night.  It was fun putting it together although sympathy cards are not my favorite type of card to do.  The mat is embossed with the D'vine swirl folder and the green band is embossed with the honeycomb border folder.  The sentiment is heat embossed and punched with the word punch and matted onto a piece punched with the modern label punch.  Both of these are Stampin' Up products. The paper is Recollections paper from Michael's.

Here is a sympathy card made yesterday morning.  Just trying to use some new art piece I found, to see if it would work.  I was happy with the result.

The ladies asked for a masculine birthday card idea so this is what I shared with them using the brick embossing folder and the Happy Birthday stamp from Stampin' Up alphabet soup stamp set. I also used brads which resembled screws for the mat. I have fun putting this one together.

This a sympathy card using the joy fold technique.  I really like the colors on it.

This is a triple stamping Thanksgiving card I shared with the ladies yesterday. It was fun to put together.

Yesterday, I spent the morning with these wonderful ladies, sharing ideas that I have learned over the past year and a half from other card makers.  We had so much fun together!

This is a wedding card made in the couple's wedding colors, purple, white and mint green. The white front is embossed with the Cuttlebug D'vine swirl embossing folder.  The hearts are punched with a Martha Stewart heart punch and the sentiment is from Stampin' Up Occasional Quotes.

Well after a nice week in British Columbia, it is time to update this blog.  This is a joy fold card I made for my son and daughter-in-law for their first anniversary.  Their wedding colors were used for this card.  They liked it so much they asked me to make a card for their friends' wedding, so while they were visiting us in July I sat down and worked on another joy fold card for their friends.  I used colors to match the wedding invitation (blue, white and burlap).  It was fun. For this card, I used left over paper from their wedding card. The stamps are from Stampin' Up teeny tiny wishes. The sentiment is punched out with the word punch and the mat is from the modern label punch which are both from Stampin' Up. I regret that I do not have a picture of the wedding card.
