Graduation cards

Good morning!  Now that grad is over, I will share these cards that I made for my son's friends at their graduation yesterday.  The swirl background was for the girls and the dots for the boys.  These cards were made in their school colors but can be done in any color combination.

With so many babies being born, I just thought I would share this idea for gift card holders.  They are matchbooks with pockets for the gift card inside.  Please e-mail me for any questions or comments you may have.  Enjoy! Happy gift card holder making!

The top picture is the inside of this joy fold card made into a money holder or could be revised for a gift card.  I used this particular one for a tip holder.  I was given a gift certificate to Posh Hair Salon for a Mother's Day Gift so instead of just giving the hair dresser cash I presented it in this holder. She loved it!
It is amazing how a simple card like this can bring so much joy. The measurements are a piece 41/4" x 81/2" scored at 51/2".  The smaller piece is 3"x 8" scored at 4".  The mats are 1/4" smaller than each of the pieces.

These are very simple little cards for our preschool students.  They are 4" square cards with embossed fronts and a butterfly punched out of different colors and a tag with their name on it.  The inside has a little note for them thanking them for a great year of preschool.  It is so much fun making special little things like this.

2 websites that I go to for inspiration are www.catherinepooler.com and www.pinterest.com.  YouTube has also been a source of inspiration.

This picture was taken at a craft sale I did last November. The matchbooks for tea are in red box on the right side and the hot chocolate and apple cider matchbooks are in the box on the left. As you can see there are assorted types of Christmas cards - regular fold, joy fold, easel cards and twisted easel cards. The tea and hot chocolate matchbooks were the best sellers at both craft sales.

This is an anniversary easel card which can be done in any color.  This one was made for a 40th wedding anniversary.

This is a tea matchbook.  My sister shared this idea with me and I have used the matchbook idea for baby shower favors and for Christmas craft sales.  People bought them to put in Christmas stockings or to include in a card.  For Christmas craft sales last November I made them 4" wide to fit a hot chocolate mix package or hot apple cider mix package.  They were also big sellers for gift giving!  This particular matchbook was made for a co-worker who was dealing with allergies.  It is 3" wide.

This is a gift card holder.  I used a 5"x 12" piece of card stock as the base.  It is scored at 5" and 10".
Materials used were: Stampin Up modern label punch, Stampin Up word punch, a Recollections music note punch, a dimensional sticker for the treble clef and a robin dimensional sticker.  The background paper is from the Recollections "Spice market" package of 12" x 12" card stock.  Please be sure to ask any questions you may have.
This is a graduation card that can be made with any school colors.  It is that time again.

Greeting Cards : Hello.  This is my first time at this but I do wan...

I apologize for repeating this post so often!
