Thank You card

This thank you card (twist and pop) was made for a friend who has been coordinating 31 people in a Canada 150 km Challenge.  She had door prizes each week to encourage us along the way. Each week we would have a Roll Call where we would share our kilometers walked, biked or ran for that week.  This stamp set was my prize for one week's door prize so I made a thank you card for her.
I am happy to say I exceeded my goal for that challenge and have joined a summer exercise challenge coordinated by this same friend.  She is an awesome leader!

Double Fold birthday card

Another new technique (Double fold) was used here with the opportunity to use up some birthday washi tape.  I also used some glitter paper I won in a contest on a friend's Facebook page.

"Swing" card

For this card, I used the wiper card technique without the pop ups on the top.  I used the tree from Sheltering Tree set, the swing and cushions from Sitting Here stamp set and the sentiment and butterflies from You Move Me.  I embossed the front panel with Decorative Dots embossing folder.  I used the gold/white bakers twine for the "rope" on the swing.

Retiform Card

Here is another retiform card in Tranquil Tide ink and the Great Outdoors stamp set and the sentiment from Sitting Here stamp set.

Peekaboo birthday card

When I saw this stamp set (Heartland) in the new Stampin' Up catalogue, I knew I needed it for my prairie theme cards.  This card also uses the wheat from the Wetlands set and the birds from the High Tide set and the sentiment from the Sky is the Limit set.

Birthday card

This is a simple birthday card using the Sky is the Limit stamp set, Word Bubble framelits and the global embossing folder.

Retiform cards

These two cards were made with a new technique I learned called retiform.  I used Stampin' Up's stamp set called Lovely as a Tree for these.
