Here is a birthday card I made recently. It is made with Lost Lagoon card stock, Irresistibly Yours Designer Series Paper. Lost Lagoon Classic Stampin' Ink, Scalloped Tag Topper punch. The flower and sentiment are from the Simply Sketched stamp set. The flower and sentiment were stamped with Stazon ink and then colored with Hello Honey and Pistachio Pudding Stampin' Write markers. The white card stock, the yellow embossed tag and gold ribbon are from non Stampin' Up products. The edge on the front pieces are punched with EK scalloped border punch. Enjoy.
This card was made for a 65th anniversary as a request from a friend for her parents. After trying to plan a special card, this idea kept coming to my mind as the one to do. This is a waterfall card with each of the milestone anniversaries (25, 40, 50, 60) on the flaps and 65 on the pull out piece.
Materials used are as follows:
Fancy Fan embossing folder
Congratulations stamp from a retired stamp set
White card stock
Blue card stock
Heart shape brads
Heart shaped punch

I was at a 50th birthday party of a friend yesterday. She had a few of her friends together to do scrap booking or card making so I decided to do this set of Thank you cards. They are 23/4" finished size to fit a 3" square envelope. This set is inspired by a similar card in the Stampin' Success magazine (for Stampin' Up demonstrators). I used Strawberry Slush card stock and Strawberry Slush Classic Ink from Stampin' Up! The flowers are from a stamp set called Petite Petals and punched out with the coordinating punch. The sentiment and mini hearts are from another stamp set called "You Brighten My Day" and punched out with a coordinating Note Punch. All card stock, stamps, ink and punches are from Stampin' Up! The stamp set "You Brighten My Day" is available for free for the month of March with a purchase of $60 (in Canada) of product. Check with a demonstrator near you for the purchase requirement for your area. Thank you for visiting my blog today! Have an awesome day!
